LAUGHING GIRAFFE ORGANICS is a family run business that is owned by the Gilmour family, who live in the San Francisco Bay Area. They entered the health food business out of a desire to learn about healthy eating and how it might improve their own well-being.
Chelsea Marshall – President: Chelsea is the daughter of the Gilmour’s. She is married and has 4 children in grade school. She is an outdoor enthusiast, loves music and is never without her yellow lab. Chelsea, who works closely with our broker and retail partners, is located at the company’s Lafayette, CA headquarters.
LAUGHING GIRAFFE ORGANICS was originally founded in 2006 by Justin Baumgartner, who remains the Chief Chef and General Manager of our production facility in Phoenix, AZ. Justin learned his craft primarily from working as a chef in vegan restaurants in New York, NY. He started the business in his home in Phoenix and soon attracted venture funding from Whole Foods Markets, and with its help, was able to develop national distribution.
LAUGHING GIRAFFE ORGANICS has created so many delightful products that are satisfying to your senses as well as your soul. One of our favorite LAUGHING GIRAFFE ORGANICS treats are the Snakaroons!
